Do I need to download any software to publish my episodes?: Nope! If you can see this website then you already have all the tools you need to publish your podcast. The PodcastPeople application is completely web-based, so you can upload your shows from any device with an internet connection.
What do I need to create my podcast?: You will need a combination of hardware and software in order to record, edit, and publish your podcast. For audio you will need a microphone (available on most modern computers). For video you can use a web-cam, digital camera, or even a video-enabled phone.
